From the moment we saw her full-body creature suit in person, we knew it deserved something special—and we were honored to bring that vision to life underwater. This shoot was a true team effort. I was behind the camera capturing the magic, while Abbey stepped in as the model coach to help guide movement and energy underwater. Together, we created a space where artistry could flow freely—literally and figuratively.
We set the scene with our custom kelp props and textured backdrop to evoke an eerie, enchanted kelp forest. The mood was cinematic, mysterious, and otherworldly—a perfect match for the Creature Fins aesthetic. Katie’s suit looked absolutely stunning underwater. The way it moved, the details, the colors—it all came alive in a way that gave us chills. But honestly? That suit would look jaw-dropping in any setting. Being able to showcase their work in an underwater environment was such a privilege.
